I let this happen once. My mind was off somewhere far away. Something serious had happened to completely distract me and I didn't hold the door for the person behind me. She let me know how she felt about what I had done and before my mind was snapped back to reality she was gone. I felt horrible. I always try to remember that everyone has stuff going on.
