I had a Kindle when they first hit the scene (2008-ish) and I loved it. Then I got an iPad and didn’t see a need for both (ibooks now Apple Books) so I sold my Kindle.
And theeeennnnn I somehow started back reading physical books more and eventually that became my preferred method. I was still heavily using the Kindle app on my phone too.
I recently decided to purchase another Kindle because…
(a) I wanted to read without the distraction of my phone
(b) I wanted to be able to take SEVERAL books with me at once and not worry about the weight of my backpack/purse
(c) SEARCHING made easier - I have a method of taking notes in physical books that I love BUT if I want to find a specific quote, vocabulary word, etc…. I cannot easily search using my analog note taking system.
(d) I can be in bed, have all the lights out, and still read because it has a backlight.
I have zero regrets about my new Kindle purchase. I like that if I pick it up to read something I won’t be distracted by other apps on my phone.
As they say, 10 out of 10!
You can find the Kindle I chose + the cover here and here.
Do you have an e-reader?
If I am forced to choose, I still love the feel of an actual book. Grateful to have access to both!
Thanks so much for being here.
See ya next Sunday!
Hugs, Love, and Gratitude Y’all!

I love having the Kindle app on my phone and iPad . Mainly because it allows me to keep a lot of books with me without having to deal with the weight and space physical books can take up
