When is the last time you CHALLENGED YOURSELF?
I love a good challenge.
I love trying new things.
In my mind it keeps me on my toes, keeps me from getting/feeling stuck, and opens me up to new things/ideas.
I try to have at least one challenge going per month but I have been inconsistent with adding in new ones because my main challenge has been building a community via social media.
Every now and again a friend will ask ‘what challenge are you currently doing’ and ask to join in but the majority of the time, I am solo dolo.
Typically I start at the beginning of a month but to get myself back on track I am gonna start one mid-month this time.
I can be extreme but I have started embracing ‘smaller steps’ more - not saying I will do away with my extreme ways because they serve me well at times. I like that part of me.

Be prepared for friends and family to tease you / give you a hard time. I think adult peer pressure is damn near as bad as adolescent peer pressure.
I will let y’all know next week what I landed on. I’m prepared to start on Valentine’s Day.
This won’t be my next challenge, but I must say, running another half-marathon has been living in the back of my mind. I would like to prove to myself that I can run ONE MORE post broken femur.
Remember you can ease into it. Try things like:
No meat for one month
No eating out for one month
Reading 5 pages a day
No coffee for month (GTFOH)
Have ___ ounces of water a day for one month
Duolingo for 30 days straight
Meditation for ____ minutes for one month
Commit to being aware every time you find yourself giving unsolicited advice
Add fruit to your meals for 30 days
Send snail mail once a week for one month
No Amazon ordering for 30 days
Don’t seek advice & tapping into your own intuition for the next month
Have a date with your kid(s) weekly for the next month
Limit daily screen time for 30 days
Commit to saying !YES! to your lover/partner/husband/wife for the next month (y’all know what I mean)
Tidy ___ minutes before bed each night
Move your body for ___ minutes a day for one month
There are so many things we can do.
What would you add?
What will you try?
THAT’S IT Y’ALL - see ya here next Sunday at 3:33p CT
