Year 54 | Week 2

My last day at my job was December 31, 2023.

It doesn’t even feel right saying ‘my job’ because it was more than a job. It was my passion, my life, my ‘motherhood outlet’ for almost 16 years.

I spent many years NEVER dreading Mondays. ‘Sunday Scaries’ were not a thing for me.

But the time has come for me to move on.

Since working there filled my ‘motherhood’ cup, this is kinda like becoming an empty nester.

The kids won’t need me anymore (*tears) and now I have to find out who I am without ‘taking care of the kids’. (SALUTE to parents because I can’t imagine)

I’ve decided to go ALL IN with ‘Sally McMullin Community Education, LLC’. Initially, the majority of my time will be spent creating content on Instagram.

I’ve done this work for years with ‘my kids’ and now I am doing it publicly. I am excited about moving these stories FORWARD!

I am scared.
I am nervous.
I am READY.
It is time.

I don’t have a massive savings. This is a big a** risk. BUT! I am willing to take a chance on ME. I am ready to go all in for me the way I have for others for so long.

I have all the quotes on repeat in my head:

“If not now, WHEN?!”
”Feel the fear and do it anyway!”
”Stop acting like you live twice!”
”Do it scared!”

on and on…..

The one I am running with is: “The world needs who you were made to be.”

I believe (actually I know) I have been limiting my ‘world’ and now I wanna expand it. (sheesh if we were taking a shot for every “I” in that sentence we’d be drunk)

The Universe (God) is on my team and wants me to win. It (He) has been waiting on me and now I am ready.

Let’s do the damn thang! (He knows I cuss)
