CANDID CAMERA TRICKS / HACKS
for regular picture takers like me
trick 1 - I like to keep the video camera going - I THINK I learned this hack on Instagram a long time ago. Pretty sure it’s not my original idea but I use the hell out of it.
Once I finish, I look for the money shot, and then SCREENSHOT to have the photo I want.
trick 2 - I like to talk to people and eventually they will laugh and boom! So much better than the posed smile! This seed was planted when I was with an incredible photographer - Robert Robertson - who did this very thing with me and I didn’t even realize it!
When I was working with kids, I loved doing this. I have MANY favorites but here’s one that matches the season…
On the pic below, I had the video going and asked a lovely young lady to ‘take my picture’. We were talking and here she got a real laugh!

WHAT I WATCHED
I knew this was coming out and definitely wanted to see it. My brother had already watched it and insisted I watch it with him, so I did.
I love Love LOVE comedy and I love Jamie Foxx (Texas stand up)!
It was great to hear him talk about what happened versus all the speculation we saw online.
