I first heard about Dr. Sandy Skotnicki from Rajiv Surendra. Someone complimented his hair in this video (4:44 mark) and that was the beginning of my rabbit hole.
I read the book.
I watched her interviews.
I watched her podcasts.
I sent her an email.
When I say a I took a DEEP DIVE… I was deeeeep!
This book was better than any dermatology visit I have ever had.
She helped me understand so many things. She gave me correct language for my experiences (e.g. sensitive skin vs. irritants, intolerant vs. allergic, etc…).
I have been on a long journey of eliminating products, using clean products, switching to natural products, reactions, on and on.
For now, this book will be my skin bible!
Do less. - Dr. Sandy Skotnicki
I was already doing SOME of the things she mentions in the book based off my own insticts / intuiton. Finding her was validation and I am thrilled about it.
If you’re into this kinda thing, please let me know your thoughts after checking out some of her information.
I hope it helps someone the way it is helping me.
THAT’S IT Y’ALL - see ya here next Sunday at 3:33p CT

I watched the hair commentary and I agree. I get compliments on how long my natural hair is all the time and the secret is I only wash it once every 6 weeks 🫣🙈. I keep my scalp clean by not putting any product on it to reduce itching and flaking. And once it air dries I rarely add more product to it. This was good stuff today Sally. Thank you!
