Where did I mess up (FAIL) this past week?
A while ago I heard Sara Blakely (Spanx Founder) mention her dad’s dinnertime question: What did you fail at?
I want to make sure that I see and acknowledge my ‘failures’ so that I can self-correct, abandon, ask for help, or do whatever makes the most sense.
Sara said this helped her view failure differently. To her failure means not trying at all. I love that mindset. Watch HERE.
failure = not trying
How did I let time get away from me this past week?
This is a challenge for me. And now that I will be working for myself I gotta do better!
I am working through this by testing apps that block, making a tighter schedule, using the ‘do not disturb’ feature on phone/laptop, and not taking on others’ emergencies/problems (story for another newsletter).
I give away 60 minutes a lot faster than I give away $60 and TIME is far more valuable.
What improvements can I make this upcoming week?
What tiny tweak can I make?
(example: add 3 minutes on treadmill, one less sugar, etc… )
What baby step can I take?
(example: do one stretch before bed, wake up 5 minutes earlier, research boxing class, etc…)
What fear can I face?
(example: order ancestry kit, have the difficult conversation, ask for a raise, etc…)
Please SHARE in the comments a tweak you’d like to make.
